A woman needed stitches after allegedly being hit in the face with a high-heeled shoe at a hotel in Sydney's south. The 32-year-old suffered a cut to her forehead, just above the left eye, when she was allegedly struck with a shoe during an argument at the Sutherland venue about 4.30am (AEDT) on Sunday, police said.
She was taken to Sutherland Hospital where the gash was stitched.
A 21-year-old woman was later charged with reckless wounding and bailed to appear in Sutherland Local Court on November 1.
Police said the shoes were seized further examination.
